Peter Martin has been appointed to an Assistant Professorship in Cultural and Historical Geography at the University of Nottingham, starting in August 2022.
Former PDRA Peter left Arctic Cultures in January 2022 for seven months as a Temporary Lecturer in Human Geography at the University of Glasgow. It is fantastic news for the wider field that he has now secured a permanent (tenure-track) post at Nottingham, an excellent Department and University. Given that many brilliant researchers never reach this stage, this is really great news for Peter and us all. Preparing and training the next generation of scholars for permanent positions is a key goal of the Arctic Cultures project. Many congratulations to Peter from all of the Arctic Cultures team!
