Johanne has been conducting research at the University Herbaria and the Bodleian Archives in Oxford.
As part of her research into the collecting practices of the Oxford University Arctic Expeditions, 1921-24, Johanne has been tracing the Expeditions’ botanical specimens still in store at the Oxford University Herbaria. This was combined with a consultation of the ornithological notes made by the keen ornithologist, Reverend Francis Jourdain, stored at the Bodleian Archives.
