4-5 May 2023: Liz examines displays in Oxford

Liz Walsh visited three Oxford Museums as part of her research into collections for Arctic Cultures.

Liz examined displays of props from the BBC/HBO adaptation of Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials novels at the Pitt Rivers Museum, History of Science Museum, and Story Museum. The immediate output from the visits will be an exhibition review article, as well as informing our ongoing research into connections between collections of Arctic material culture.
