As part of their fieldwork, Liz Walsh and Morgan Ip visited museums in Ilulissat, Greenland, in August 2023.
The intituions visited were Ilulissat’s Art Museum, History Museum, and the recently completed Icefjord Centre. The team was hosted at the Art Museum at the invitation of Director Andreas Hoffman. The team met with Arctic Lab collaborators to discuss issues related to the Arctic Cultures project including cultural representation and the relevance of museums and cultural infrastructure to host communities.
