30 August 2023: Liz and Morgan present at RGS-IBG conference, London

Liz Walsh and Morgan Ip participated in the Annual Conference of the RGS-IBG, London in late August 2023.

Morgan and Liz co-convened a roundtable, and presented on Arctic Cultures research, at the Annual Conference of the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) in London.  The roundtable was ‘Looking North: Conversations between Geography and Arctic Studies’, and included contributions from fellow Arctic Cultures PDRA Peter Martin, and Royal Holloway PhD researcher, Liling Xu. Liz also presented a paper, ‘Assembling the Arctic: The Barrow Arctic Collection and 19^th Century Narratives of Arctic Indigeneity’, using her AC research at the British Museum.
